Senna auriculata
Flowers of the senna auriculata tree, also known as the avaram senna or ranawara tree. It is common in dry regions of India and Sri Lanka, and is the state flower of the south-central Indian state of Telangana.
The flowers have been reported to be effective in the treatment of hyperglycemia and associated hyperlipidemia. The leaves, bark and roots of the tree are also used in ayurvedic medicines.
