A street in the historic quarter of Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

From its foundation in 1680, Colonia alternated many times between Portuguese and Spanish rule. It was also part of Brazil for several years prior to becoming part of Uruguay in 1828.
